Australian gold miner Kingsrose Mining has received the first of two outstanding permits required for commencing production at its Talang Santo project in Indonesia.
Kingsrose has an 85% interest in the Way Linggo and Talang Santo projects in southern Sumatra, through its subsidiary PT Natarang Mining. It has received ministerial approval for the extension to the existing project environmental assessment.
“Granting of the environmental license represents a significant milestone in the permitting process and a step closer to the resumption of production at the Way Linggo project,” said Kingsrose managing director Scott Huffadine.
